About Carnamcha
کارنامچہ is an Urdu word for a small record book. Carnamcha is that book for your car.
Why it exists
Most car owners in Pakistan keep their service history the same way: a pile of workshop slips in the glovebox. Many are handwritten, half in Urdu. Some have no date, most have no odometer reading. When the mechanic asks when the oil was last changed, or a buyer asks for the service record, the answer is a guess.
Car apps made elsewhere expect printed English invoices from a dealer. Carnamcha starts from the paper you actually have: take a photo, check what it read, and the history is there when you need it.
What it holds to
- It reads, you confirm. Nothing counts towards spend or history until you have checked it.
- The original is kept. The Urdu stays next to the English, and the photo stays with the record.
- Local by default. Rupees, kilometres, Pakistani workshops and the names mechanics use for parts.
- Your record is yours. Export all of it, any time, as CSV or JSON.
Where it is going
Carnamcha already reminds you before each part is due, not only the oil. Next up: importing a history you already keep in a spreadsheet or another app, and reminders on your phone's lock screen.
Carnamcha is early and changing. A receipt it misread, a part it does not know, or something you would like it to do? Email [email protected].
Who runs Carnamcha
Carnamcha is built and operated by Millibytes. It is independent of every workshop, parts seller and fuel company: none pays to appear, and your records are never shared with them. Reach us at [email protected].
