Privacy
What Carnamcha keeps, where it goes, and what it never does.
What is stored
- Your email address and a hashed password (never the password itself). If you continue with Google, Carnamcha receives only your email address and Google's account id for it.
- What you add: vehicles, fills, receipts, visits and odometer readings.
- The photos you upload. Before a photo is stored it is resized and its hidden data — including location — is removed.
Who handles it
- Your records and photos are kept with established hosting and storage providers, encrypted in transit.
- To read a photo, it is sent to an AI service on a paid business plan. Under that plan, the service does not use your photos or their contents to train its models.
- Emails from Carnamcha — sign-in, confirmation, and the weekly service reminder — are sent through an email delivery service. Every reminder email has a link to stop them.
- These providers handle your data only to run Carnamcha for you.
What Carnamcha does not do
- No ads, no tracking scripts, no selling or sharing your data.
- Your records are visible only to your account.
Keeping and deleting
The database is backed up nightly and backups are kept for 30 days. Removing a vehicle deletes its fills, receipts, visits, readings and photos. Deleting your account (Vehicles tab, then Delete account) removes all of it at once. You can export everything as CSV or JSON before you do.
